Black-faced Grassquit

11 cm (4-5") Accidental stray from West Indies to southern Florida. Most often seen in winter in flocks of Indigo Buntings.

Male: all black except for a dark olive-green back.

Female or Immature: gray head. Pale gray below. Grayish-olive back.

Song: buzzy "tik-zeee"; call is a "tst".
