Blue-throated Hummingbird

Lampornis clemenciae

11-14 cm (4-6") Fairly common in mountain canyons in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.

A large hummingbird with dark tail with white edges.

Male: a double white line on face.

Female: has a white line behind eye.
