Budgerigar

18 cm (7") Australian parakeet. Escaped cage birds seen in wild almost anywhere. Have established themselves along southwestern Florida coast.

Highly variable plumage. Usually yellow head and throat, green below. Barred upper back. White wing stripe seen in flight.
