Spotted Sandpiper
Also known as: matakakoni
20 cm (8") Rare. Eurasian bird. Visits Alaska.
Looks like nonbreeding Spotted Sandpiper (i.e. without the spots) but it has a longer tail.
Song: piping "twee-wee-wee".
