32 cm (12") Rare. Tropical bird. Southeastern Arizona, southwestern New Mexico, Texas. Mountain streamside forests, canyons.
Small yellow bill. Male has green head and breast, female's is brown. A white band separates the breast from the red belly. Long tail. Small feet.
