Groove-billed Ani
37 cm (14") Uncommon. Florida.
Resembles grackles and may be overlooked for one. All black with iridescent purple and green. Long tail. Feeds in small flocks on ground in bushy thickets, farmlands. Large bill; ridge on upper bill rises above the crown.
