23 cm (9") Rare. Atlantic Ocean. Broad white band at base of tail or on rump. Square or slightly forked tail. Similar to Wilson's and Leach's storm-petrels but larger than Wilson's, more stout and darker than Leach's. Was called Harcourt's Petrel.
