Also known as: Pallas's Reed-Bunting, Pallas's Reed Bunting
14 cm (5-6") Rare. Spring vagrant to northeastern Alaska from Asia.
Male: black head and throat, white neck collar and underparts, and a heavily streaked grey back Similar Reed Bunting has a browner back.
Female: much duller, with a streaked brown head. It is less streaked below than female Reed Bunting.
Song: distinctive "pee-see-oo" call.
