66 cm (26") Pacific coast. Smallest west coast cormorant. Thin bill. Overall dark and glossy. Breeding birds have white feathers on the side of neck and sides. Told from Red-faced Cormorant by less red on face, dark bill and smaller size.
Immatures have dark brown or black breasts.
