Solander's Petrel

41 cm (16") Casual off Pacific coast. Reported offshore from California to Washington. Breeds off Australia. Pale area at base of bill and some white under the wings at the tips or primaries otherwise uniformly dark gray-brown overall. Murphy's Petrel is nearly identical but has no white under the wings.
