Tundra Swan

Also known as: Whistling Swan, Bewick's Swan,

135 cm (53") Common native swan. Tundra in summer, lakes, large rivers, bays, flooded fields.

White swan with black bill. Holds neck straight up. Small yellow spot at base of bill. Was called Whistling Swan.

Song: rich bugling call.
