Wilsonia Genus

A small genus of New World Warblers including Hooded Warbler, Wilson's Warbler, and the Canada Warbler.

They all have bright yellow underparts and black head and chest markings in at least the adult male plumage. Two species have a plain olive green-brown back, but the Canada Warbler has grey upperparts and also migrates much further than the other species in the genus.

Wilsonia warblers feed on insect, often caught by flycatching.,The long tail is flipped or flicked. They have distinctive songs and loud chip calls.
