Also known as: Eye-browed Thrush
22 cm (8-9") Rare. Visits Aleutians from Asia. Breeds in dense coniferous forest and taiga eastwards from Siberia.
Gray or olive-brown upperparts. Gray breast. Orange-buff sides. White belly. Distinctive eyebrow stripe.
Male: gray throat.
Female: white and streaked throat.
The sexes are fairly similar, but immatures have a browner back.
Song: a simple whistling song - thin "zip-zip".
