Tamaulipas Crow

37 cm (14-15") An exceptional rarity in Texas. May winter along the Rio Grande. May be seen at Brownsville municipal dump.

All black. Smaller and glossier than American Crow but ranges do not overlap.

Was called Mexican Crow.

Song: distinctive long frog-like croak.
