13 cm (5") Common in deciduous brush.
Yellow crown. Black eye line and whisker stripe. Chestnut sides. Streaked back. Two pale wing bars.
Immature: lime green above. White eye ring. Whitish underparts. May show some chestnut on sides.
Song: a whistled "please please please ta meetcha".
